Reward: EARS PIERCED!

Dear Amelia and Max -
Amelia, last week, we decided to take away the pull up at night since you had been accident free for awhile. We told you if you kept your unnies dry you could get your ears pierced! Your friend (BEST FRIEND) from daycare, Peyton, has hers pierced so we knew you would be all for it!
We went to Claire's today after Daddy got off work. I warned you it was going to hurt before we went. You said you weren't going to cry.

After...you were a happy camper!

Mom

Aubrey's Baby Shower

Dear Amelia and Max -
Saturday we celebrated the future arrival of your new cousin. Glamma let me throw the shower at her house while she was in Duluth. We had so much fun celebrating Baby Soukup!

While I was at the shower, you guys hung out with Ashley! You had a blast!

She brought you to the house so you could play with your cousins for a little bit!

 Such a fun day!

Love,
Mom

Locked

Dear Amelia and Max -
Amelia ~ A couple of weekends ago, I put Max in his crib and turned on some music for you to dance to while I took a shower. I was about half way done with my shower when you told me that you shut baby Max's bedroom door and you couldn't open it. I thought you were kidding. Boy was I wrong.

After my shower, I thought to myself "I better check that out..."

"...my sweet girl wouldn't lock her brother in his room"

I turned the knob. Locked. Sh*t. I calmly found a thing-a-majig to unscrew the handles off the doors, pushed the knob thru that was locked. That would surely magically open the door. Nope. Sh*t. I called Daddy. Still calm. "Hunny, Amelia locked Max in his room" he wasn't calm. He told me I was going to have to break down the door. Picture my 110 (hehe) pound body trying to knock down the door. I tried. Didn't work. Sh*t. I called Glamma and Cookies house. "Mom! Amelia locked Max in his room!" The other end of the line was laughing. Not. Funny. After I didn't laugh, she said "I will send Aldo over."

Finally, Daddy told me to take the knob off your door and put it in Max's door. Didn't work. Sh*t. I figured out if I put the knob back in your door and locked it it would work! YAY! Success.

Max ~ You were just fine.

Awesome Uncle Aldo came flying in the door to save the day...he seemed disappointed that he didn't get to break down the door!

This is will going to turn into a Grade story. It will probably turn into Max being locked in the room for days instead of 30 mins.

Max's 2 month appointment

Dear Amelia and Max -
Max, you had your 2 month doctor visit. Here are the stats:
Weight: 12 pounds 10 oz - 64% percentile
Length: 24" - 80% percentile
Head: 15.75" - 43% percentile

You had to get 3 shots. Poor guy. I had to miss your appointment because I got a call in the afternoon requesting we put a VIP's name on the back of a hard hat for his visit to Minnesota. I haven't found any pictures of him wearing it yet but its still pretty cool :)
Still I was bummed I had to miss your appointment. When we went to put you to bed; you started crying so I went in there and you were pale...and then your spit up all over Daddy. It freaked me out so you slept in your swing next to us all night. When you woke up, you were fine...just a little crabby.

By Saturday...you were back to normal. Adorable as ever with your big sis...

Mom
