Jaxy and Ya Ya

Dear Amelia -
This is too cute to wait for tomorrow. When Jackson got to Glamma and Cookies last night, we brought him into the kitchen where you were eating. He got very excited to see you and said "YA YA!"

You love each other...(sorry for all of the loud voices!)

Cabin weekend!

Dear Amelia -
Well we got out of the cities just in time on Friday! There were some bad storms. Once we got up to the cabin, we hopped on the boat for a nice ride!
You kept sticking your head out of the water and looking at the water, your little buns would stick out and it was so cute.
Saturday, the weather wasn't great so we weren't outside that long. You and Daddy went on an inter tube ride while nervously waited for you to get back in the boat. You loved it! I snapped some pictures with Cookie's camera. I'll post those as soon as he uploads them.

Sunday, we had a little photo session. You weren't that into it but the pictures are adorable of course.

We had lunch on the boat then headed home. You were TIRED!

We get to see Pam and Jaxy for a bit tonight. You are sleeping over at Glamma and Cookies while Daddy and I go to the Twins game with Sarah and Justin! Fun!

Mom

2nd Haircut!

Dear Amelia -
On bath nights, we let you eat messy stuff. Wednesday night, you had spaghetti and yogurt! Yum!
Your hair was getting a little long, so we went back to Kids Hair and got your hair cut again! You were such a good girl! She cut it a little short but it will grow back fast!
In a few hours, we are headed up to the cabin for the weekend! YEAH! Should be super fun!

Fathers Day weekend!

Dear Amelia -
We started off the weekend being spontaneous. Kia called at 430 inviting us over to swim in their kiddie pool. Now that they live kiddie corner from us, it wasn't hard to get over there. We put on your suit and went over. I brought you back to the house at bed time and went back for some adult bon fire time. Daddy stayed inside with you while you slept.

Saturday, we did some errands in the morning. After nap time, we went down to the Stone Arch Art festival. It was so fun. We first went to Lizzie & Jessica's booth - Oven Luvin. I was so impressed with the stuff they made. All hand sown oven accessories. Anything from casserole carrying cases, to aprons to hot pads....I bought this one.
It was great. After the festival, we dropped you off for your sleepover at Glammas. Daddy and I were too tired to do anything so we just went home.

Sunday - You, Glamma and Flossy picked me up at home and we went to Lake Harriet for a walk and to see the bench dedicated to your Great Grandpa Bob and Great Uncle Billy. After, we took a tour of were Glamma grew up and went out to lunch.
Daddy finally got home at 6pm from work. So you didn't get to spend too much of Fathers Day with him. Bummer. At least you have all day together!

Mom

Storm!

Dear Amelia -
There was a big storm last night. A bunch of tornados touched down in Minnesota. None near us tho, phew! You were a tired girl last night in your Christmas jam jams.

Maybe this is what made you tired (turn down your volume, cuz our voices are loud)

Tomorrow, we are going to head out to the Store Arch Craft Festival because Mommy's friend Lizzie has a booth...if the weather is nice. Then Glamma requested you to sleep over on Saturday night so you'll head over there while Mommy and Daddy use up a gift card that we've had for years! Sunday - Fathers Day, Daddy works so its just me and you babe!

Mom

BYE! SEE YA! Have a good day!

Dear Amelia -
About the same spot everyday, you start saying bye to Daddy before we drop him off at work. We turn the corner and you know where you are. You start sayin your goodbyes. My favorite is when you say "Bye Amelia!" so cute.

Uncle Billy made it in the May Newsletter on this ship. Here's the picture! Its so nice to see his face!

A night away with the boyfriend

Dear Amelia -
Once Millers heard that you and Daddy were going to go home Saturday night, they invited Norman so we could all sleep over! You had so much fun with your lil boyfriend - Finn. Too bad it rained most of the time.

We did get to go out on a boat ride. You wore the super cute new sweatshirt that Glamma got you.
We woke up early on Sunday and hung out for the day.

You love to wipe your nose.

Love,
Mom

300 posts!

Dear Amelia -
Friday's sleepover was a success! You and Finn played next to each other, got a little jealous of one another but did really well together! Finn even bought you a pretty dress!
Saturday, you took a super long nap. I put you down at 1030 but you didn't wake up until 2! I even got in a nice nap! After you woke up, we did a lil shoppin! Daddy and Aunty Aubby helped Papa Jim move. When they were done, Aubrey came in a for a bit so had a nice visit with her. You tried to say her name but it came out "Bobby" and Uncle Doodies name was "Doo-doo". Pretty cute! Saturday night, you and Daddy had some alone time while I went to Kelly's for a girls night!

Sunday, you stayed with Cookie (who saved the babysitting emergency!) while I went to a baby shower. Daddy worked but was home by 5ish.

Its a beautiful day out today!

Mom

Croup

Dear Amelia -
The weekend started off fun! Friday, we went over to Glamma and Cookies for a bon fire. You had a sleepover while Daddy and I went home to care for the dogs. Saturday, we were suppose to go take your 18 month photos but instead decided to go up to the Miller's cabin for the day to spend some time with your boyfriend Finn!!

Here you are being Finn's backseat driver. This didn't last long, Finn fell down under the car. Oops!
Sunday, Glamma and Cookie picked me up around 8 and we headed up to Duluth. You and Daddy stayed home. We had such a great time at the Memorial! Norman was such a special guy and I always love hangin with the fam! I sure missed you guys tho!
Daddy mentioned that you didn't sleep well on Sunday night. He said you were up every hour. Monday, you cough kept getting worse as did your breathing. We tried to bring you to urgent care but it was Memorial Day so no one was open. We put you down for bed nice and early because you needed your rest. You woke up around 1030 having a really hard time breathing. I freaked. Daddy stayed calm but I could tell he was nervous. We took you to the only 24 hour urgent care there was. Sure enough, you have Croup. Its not as serious as it use to be but it was very scary! Here's a sample of your breathing.

I stayed home with you yesterday and Daddy is staying home with you today. Hopefully you are behaving :)

Love,
Mom
