Friday’s rule!!! Daddy was suppose to work all weekend but he called this morning to say that he has tomorrow off! YIPPIE! So he’ll join us for swimming class and we are going to work on the house. Unfortunately, he has to work Sunday but 1 day with him is better than none! WOO HOO!

Thanks to Kellee, I know that I can make my own ringtones on my work computer! So I took the sound from that video and made it into a ringtone! Such a great idea by Lydia!

Weekend!

Dear Amelia -

Another great weekend in the books! Friday, you went to Glamma and Cookies for a sleepover. Daddy and I painted the kitchen. It looks good!!
Saturday, we picked you up at 10am and headed to swimming lessons. The water was coldddd! It took you a little bit to warm up and like it. After swimming, we went to Applebees for lunch. You had a FIT the second we sat down so we gave you whatever you wanted to keep you happy. We snarfed down our food and left so you could take a nap!! Saturday night, Grandma Kiki came over for a short visit then we played the rest of the day!
Sunday, Katie was having a fundraiser in St Paul so we picked up Sarah and Justin before we dropped you off at Kiki’s for the afternoon. The fundraiser was for Cancer and it was a bean bag tournament! I thought Daddy and Justin were going to win the whole thing but they didn’t. Boo hoo.
We got home around 6. You had yogurt and practiced winking....

Peanut Butter!!!!!

Dear Amelia -
You went to the doctor yesterday for your 15 month check up! The first thing the doctor said is that the test results were back and you are NOT allergic to nuts or peas!!! YIPPPPPIE!!!! Here is a picture of you trying your first bite of peanut butter!

I hated to think that you may never get to eat peanut butter because it is SO delish! Everything else went really well at the doc. I’ll post your stats on Friday. I forgot the sheet in your diaper bag!

The morning didn’t start out so well yesterday. Mommy drove into a snow bank right in our alley and was stuck for 45 mins. You were a perfect angel in the back seat until Cookie came and rescued us! All it took was one little push! Then we were on our way to daycare!

Here is your new favorite hobby...cleaning. I know you didn’t get this from Mommy...

Mole and Allergy tests

Dear Amelia -
FUN FUN FUN weekend!!! Friday night, we went over to the Colehour’s for the first night of our sleepover! We went to bed at a decent time as Daddy had his alarm set for 5:45am! You woke up at 5am for no reason and wouldn’t go back to sleep. That was fun! Not. We were bad on Saturday and skipped swimming lessons. Instead, we went to meet Sarah and Brueggers with Molly, Owen and Colton.

After Brueggs, we went to Target and Owen helped Mommy pick out your vday present. Once we got home, it was nap time!! While you napped, I made my appertizer for the evening and a dessert. I also cleaned up the house a bit. At 5:30, Kiki came and picked you up for your evening at Aubrey’s while Mommy had her cousins and 2nd cousins over. We had so much fun! Mommy, Kellee and Shannon stayed up late and chatted!!! Kellee took a picture of everyone who came, once she posts that...I’ll put it on the blog!

Kiki dropped you off around 10am. You were sound asleep in the car. So cute!!! You were doing all sorts of funny stuff on Sunday. Owen and I were singing The Wheels on the Bus to you and you would sing a long with us “uh, uh, uh” instead of “up and down” so cute! The other funny thing you did was so funny, I can’t stop thinking about it. I said to you “Amelia, do you have a poop in your diaper?” you looked at me, fell on the floor as fast as possible, pulled your legs up in the air. Then you grabbed a wipe and started to wipe your own butt (thru your pants.) It was hilarious.
Daddy got home around 4 and we headed straight home! It was a long weekend away from home but we had lots of fun!!! Daddy smelt a new poopy in your diaper and you led him back to the Anne Frank room to change your diaper. You are getting so smart.

• I bet you are wondering why we call it the Anne Frank room...its a really small room and I started to call it that when we first moved in and it has stuck.
  

Today you had a doctors appt to get the mole on your neck checked out. You’ve had it for a long time so I thought that we better be safe than sorry. Everything was fine. Its just a normal mole! After the dermatologist, we decided to take you to get some blood drawn to see if you have an allergies to nuts/peas. We’ve been sitting on these lab papers for awhile because we haven’t been to the doctor since your year check up. You didn’t even cry when they stuck the needle in your arm. They took 3 tubes of blood. You started to cry (hard) as the began to take the last tube of blood. Once they took it out, you were all better! Such a big girl!!!

Tomorrow at 3pm, you have your 15 month doctors appt. Its a few weeks late, oops.

Vday Weekend!

Dear Amelia -

Well its Valentines weekend!! You know what that means, lots of time spent with the one(s) you love! Welll...our favorite man is going ice fishing this weekend 5 hours away. That’s okay because we have a fun weekend planned!! Tonight, we are going to sleepover at the Colehours with Cookie, Awesome uncle Aldo and the Carlons! At 6am, the men leave to go ice fishing while me, you, Colton, Owen and Molly hang out at their house! Oh and Norman too! We have swimming lessons in the morning, then back to the house for a nap. Then, you have an extra special night. Grandma Kiki and Aunty Aubby are going to babysit you at the Soukups for the evening!! FUN! Mommy is having some SUPER fun ladies over!!! Molly, Meghan, Shannon, Bjorna, Kellee, Nicol, Dharma and Tara!!!! I’m really looking forward to it! Kellee – Don’t worry, I will lock Norman up. Hehe.

Here is Daddy in his new shades that Mommy got home for vday!! I got a super nice pair of boots! Half from Daddy and half from the Christmas gift card I'd be saving :)
