Jaxy and Ya Ya

Dear Amelia -
This is too cute to wait for tomorrow. When Jackson got to Glamma and Cookies last night, we brought him into the kitchen where you were eating. He got very excited to see you and said "YA YA!"

You love each other...(sorry for all of the loud voices!)

Cabin weekend!

Dear Amelia -
Well we got out of the cities just in time on Friday! There were some bad storms. Once we got up to the cabin, we hopped on the boat for a nice ride!
You kept sticking your head out of the water and looking at the water, your little buns would stick out and it was so cute.
Saturday, the weather wasn't great so we weren't outside that long. You and Daddy went on an inter tube ride while nervously waited for you to get back in the boat. You loved it! I snapped some pictures with Cookie's camera. I'll post those as soon as he uploads them.

Sunday, we had a little photo session. You weren't that into it but the pictures are adorable of course.

We had lunch on the boat then headed home. You were TIRED!

We get to see Pam and Jaxy for a bit tonight. You are sleeping over at Glamma and Cookies while Daddy and I go to the Twins game with Sarah and Justin! Fun!

Mom

2nd Haircut!

Dear Amelia -
On bath nights, we let you eat messy stuff. Wednesday night, you had spaghetti and yogurt! Yum!
Your hair was getting a little long, so we went back to Kids Hair and got your hair cut again! You were such a good girl! She cut it a little short but it will grow back fast!
In a few hours, we are headed up to the cabin for the weekend! YEAH! Should be super fun!

Mom

Fathers Day weekend!

Dear Amelia -
We started off the weekend being spontaneous. Kia called at 430 inviting us over to swim in their kiddie pool. Now that they live kiddie corner from us, it wasn't hard to get over there. We put on your suit and went over. I brought you back to the house at bed time and went back for some adult bon fire time. Daddy stayed inside with you while you slept.

Saturday, we did some errands in the morning. After nap time, we went down to the Stone Arch Art festival. It was so fun. We first went to Lizzie & Jessica's booth - Oven Luvin. I was so impressed with the stuff they made. All hand sown oven accessories. Anything from casserole carrying cases, to aprons to hot pads....I bought this one.
It was great. After the festival, we dropped you off for your sleepover at Glammas. Daddy and I were too tired to do anything so we just went home.

Sunday - You, Glamma and Flossy picked me up at home and we went to Lake Harriet for a walk and to see the bench dedicated to your Great Grandpa Bob and Great Uncle Billy. After, we took a tour of were Glamma grew up and went out to lunch.
Daddy finally got home at 6pm from work. So you didn't get to spend too much of Fathers Day with him. Bummer. At least you have all day together!

Mom

Storm!

Dear Amelia -
There was a big storm last night. A bunch of tornados touched down in Minnesota. None near us tho, phew! You were a tired girl last night in your Christmas jam jams.

Maybe this is what made you tired (turn down your volume, cuz our voices are loud)

Tomorrow, we are going to head out to the Store Arch Craft Festival because Mommy's friend Lizzie has a booth...if the weather is nice. Then Glamma requested you to sleep over on Saturday night so you'll head over there while Mommy and Daddy use up a gift card that we've had for years! Sunday - Fathers Day, Daddy works so its just me and you babe!

Mom

BYE! SEE YA! Have a good day!

Dear Amelia -
About the same spot everyday, you start saying bye to Daddy before we drop him off at work. We turn the corner and you know where you are. You start sayin your goodbyes. My favorite is when you say "Bye Amelia!" so cute.

Uncle Billy made it in the May Newsletter on this ship. Here's the picture! Its so nice to see his face!

Mom
