We're gonna win TWINS!

Dear Amelia -

Last night was such a fun night for Minnesota Vikings fans!! Brett Favre and the Vikes pulled out a big win viruses the Packers! 

We were able to watch the game on our NEW TV! Its pretty sweet! Thanks to the secret gift giver :)

You have a fun day ahead of you! At 230, you and Daddy are meeting Gram Gram at Glamma and Cookies house because Daddy and I are going to the Twins game. Glamma is going to come home after work and relieve Gram Gram from her babysitting duties. Once the game is over, Daddy and I will come pick you up! Hopefully after a TWINS WIN! 

Today is Norman's 4th birthday. Happy Birthday Norman!!!

Skol Vikings!

Dear Amelia -

We had such a fun weekend! Friday, we went to Sarah and Justin's new house in Hopkins. Its really really nice and big! You had a minor meltdown on the way over there...notice the big tear.

After our 3 min and 12 second drive home (they are that close,) we just played until bed time.

Saturday morning, you woke up around 7am and were down for a nap by 830. At 845, we got a call from Glamma requesting your presents sooner rather than later. After you woke up from your nap, we headed over. Around 2, Jackson came over and ended up sleeping over. You two are so cute together. Glamma took a bunch of pictures of the two of you...can't wait until she emails them to me! So cute. Daddy and I had some friends over for a bon fire. We had a blast and stayed up too late. In attendance were: Sarah, Justin, birthday girl Molly, Pam, Omer, Jon for a little bit, Steph and Joe. 

Sunday, you slept until 830...EIGHT THIRTY!!!! You've never done that at home. Must have been because you and Jax were playing so hard together! Daddy and I picked you up around 10. You fell asleep on the way home and I snuggled with you in bed for about an hour. You woke up crying. There was nothing that we could do to settle you down. You kept digging your fingers in your ears so we thought you had an ear infection. After 2 hours at urgent care, no ear infection. Maybe you are teething?

Tonight is the Vikings vs the Packers. Its a big game because its Brett Favre's first game as a Viking vs the Pack. SKOL VIKINGS!

Tomorrow, Daddy and I got tickets to the Twins game! I can't wait!

Yummm...Mac and Cheese

Dear Amelia -

Last night was your first time enjoying one of Mommy's favorite foods. MAC AND CHEESE! You loved it. You couldn't get enough of it! You shoved it in your mouth as fast as possible. Guess we know what to give you now!! 

I bought you a new pair of jeans and a new fall jacket yesterday. They are adorable but I don't think you were too comfy in the jacket. Maybe you had too much on?

We have a fun weekend planned. Tonight, we are going to walk (weather permitting) to Sarah and Justin's new house. Its only 10 blocks away. Then tomorrow morning, Glamma and Cookie are taking you to Awesome Uncle Aldo's football game in Winona! After the game, you are having a slumber party over at their house because Mommy and Daddy are having some friends over for a bon fire! We'll come and get you in the morning.

October already?

Dear Amelia -

I can't believe its October 1st already. This year has gone by so fast. 

This morning started off interesting. Daddy left for work and you ate your breakfast while I got ready. When it was time for us to go, I walked out to the car and realized Daddy had taken your car seat with him to work. Uh oh. I called him and he had to come home to drop it off. So we were running a tad bit late.

You are at daycare today because Kiki is on a very much deserved vacation! She'll be back to watch you next week tho!

Today is a special day for 2 couples. Aunty Aubrey and Uncle Doodie close on their house in Rockford and Sarah and Justin also close on their house in...drum roll please....HOPKINS! Yeah for them!

Brecken Bihl

Dear Amelia -

You have a new friend. Introducing...Brecken Bihl who was born on Saturday, 9/26.

Before Mommy went to visit Brecken, You and I did nothing all day until Daddy came home from work! When Daddy got home, we ran some errands and came back home to play for a bit. 

This is your new smile. You are so cute!

Mommy went with Sarah and Wendy to go visit Brecken on Saturday. I've been friends with Brecken and Teegan's (Breckens big brother) Mommy since 2nd grade. You are right in the middle of her 2 boys. Congrats Jason, Kia and Teegan on your new family member!

Sunday - We went shopping to Target in the morning. I put you in the cart and I could feel something wet on my elbow. When I looked, it was BIRD POOP! It got all over my arms and shirt. Luckily none got on you. Target cleaned off the cart (I got a new one) and they gave me a $3 off coupon and we started our shopping. After Target we went over to Old Navy. All of Mommy's fall/winter clothes are too big since I've lost 30+ pounds! This is a good thing but costs some extra $$. I didn't buy any new pants because they didn't have anything "short" in my size. We did have a good time tho. After that, we went home to watch the awesome VIKINGS game!!

Tonight we are going over to Glamma and Cookies because Tim Gates is in town. Fun fun fun!!

Norman!

Dear Amelia -

You had such a fun day yesterday playing with Grandma Kiki AND Aunty Aubrey yesterday! You are so lucky to have people in your life that love you so much!

After we got home, we went on a walk to pick up a portable highchair from some people we found on craigslist. It was only $5 and now you'll have somewhere to sit at Aubrey's! I'm thinking about finding a cheap pack n' play for her house to because I just realized you have no where to sleep when you are at her house.

After we got back from our walk, you followed Norman around...

Then it was time for bed. I watched Grey's Anatomy while you slept and Daddy watched a movie. 

This morning you were your usual cheerful self....

This is my new favorite picture of you. I think its hilarious. 

This weekend we have NO PLANS! Except we might go visit Molly, Owen and Colton tomorrow but that's not confirmed yet. Daddy has to work all weekend so we'll have to entertain ourselves. Hopefully we'll see Pam and Jax.
