YOU LAUGHED!!!

Dear Amelia -

Lots to cover today! We'll start with the important stuff first! YOU LAUGHED!!! Saturday, you were sitting in your chair and Daddy was making sounds at you and you let out a little giggle. 

Yesterday, I was sitting with you on the coach and you were laughin up a storm!

It was so fun! I can't wait to get home from work to hear you laugh more!!

Yesterday was a busy day. We slept in a little bit because Lindsay was over the night before so we were up a little late. We had to run some errands. We got home in just enough time to take a nap! :) Grandma Kiki got to our house around 445 to watch you while Daddy and I went to the play Movin Out. We met a bunch of people at a restaurant before the play. The play was pretty good. Afterward we went to another restaurant. We were sitting right near the front door and I reconized a bunch of the cast that walked in a little after us. We told them how good they were. THEN the star of the show walked in!!! I told Glamma that I kind of wanted to go take a picture with him so she said she would go with me. He was very nice. Here's how the picture turned out:

We went back home where you were sleeping! I think its going to be a little hard getting use to the time change (day light savings time was on Sunday.) 

You and Daddy are going to be at my office soon to go out lunch! I can't wait to see you!

Polar Bear Plunge!

Dear Amelia -

You gave Molly a run for her money yesterday. Sounds like you cried for awhile after I dropped you off! Silly girl. After I picked you up, we went home and I made bean burritos and waited for Grandma Kiki to come over. She stayed over for awhile and we chatted. You went to sleep around 830 and woke up at 1245 & 545. It was Daddy's night so I let him sleep in until 11 to catch up on his sleep.

We headed over to Meghann & Weston's at 1130 for a little pre-polar bear plunge get together. We walked to the lake and waited for Cookie, Doug, Wes & a bunch of Weston's friends to jump in the super freezing water. You slept the whole time.

We headed back to the Millers for a little bit.

They went out to grab a bite to eat and we headed home. I went and took a nap because I never get to take naps anymore (I know, waa waa.) Daddy went to work at 5 and you and I are waiting for Lindsay to come over! She's in town for a few weeks!

Tomorrow we are going to Movin Out. You are staying here with Grandma Kiki.

Feels like SPRING!

Dear Amelia -

Last night we had dinner over at Grandma Kiki's with aunty Aubrey. We always laugh so hard when we are there. Its always fun! We got home around 740, just in time to catch the rest of American Idol. I'm happy to say that my fav made it! Matt G, the dueling piano player from Michigan! Woo hoo!

You were in your crib by 820 and talked to yourself for awhile. Daddy came to bed around 1030 and you started to cry a little bit. I went and put your paci in. It was kind of this weird fake cry. Silly girl. You did the fake cry again at 230 but fell back to sleep. You were hungry around 330 and slept until 7am. I drove you over the Glamma and Cookies this AM because Molly is going to start watching you over there from now on. 

Today it's 45 degree's outside! Its really nice!

Tomorrow is March 7th so I am going to put my monthly plug in for the Liz Logelin Foundation.

Jack the Wonder Dog

Dear Amelia -

I picked you up at Pier 1 yesterday because Aunty Aubrey had a meeting at 5 so it worked perfect for me to come and pick you up! When we got home, Daddy was waiting for us! I fed you and then we watched tv. During American Idol, I made you something:

Impressed? I thought so. The one that Glamma got you said "Lil Angel" and people kept thinking your name was Angel...EMBARRASSING! Of course I wouldn't name my child Angel. For those of you that don't know what that is, its a pacifier holder. It rules because then the paci won't fall on the floor when it falls out of her mouth. Let me know if you want me to make your child one :) 

You started getting crabby around 745 last night so Daddy tried to feed you early. You weren't havin it. He pass you on to me and that didn't work either. I put you across my legs, tummy down and a bunch of toots came out so you must have had a little tummyache. After that, you ate 8 ounces and went to sleep. 

Lydia texted yesterday with some bad news. Mr Stephens & Lydia's dog, Jack the Wonder Dog, isn't doing well. He's old, 16 years old. They think he's starting to suffer. I'll keep you posted on this. Poor guy!

This morning when I came in your room, your head was facing the wall. I said "Good Morning pretty girl" and you kept your head facing toward the wall but I could tell that you were smiling. You are SO precious! You were a happy girl this morning...

Maybe its because you knew that you were spending the day with Grandma KiKi!

Daddy and I will be over to Grandma Kiki's after work because she's making us Tater Tot hot dish! YUM!

Growing Girl

Dear Amelia -

Yesterday you went to Gram Gram's while Daddy took Norman to the vet. He's gettin a little chubby...he weighs 103 pounds. Big boy. He's always a bit bigger in the winter because we don't play and walk as much. Other than that, he's healthy! He stinks tho, Daddy needs to give him a bath!

We went over to Glamma and Cookie's last night. Cookie made a yummy stir fry and we watch tv and hung out. You got a little crabby around 715 and took a little nap. We got home and you ate and went to sleep. You started to cry at 9 so I went in and rocked you for a bit. You slept until 330 and I woke you up at 715 this morning. 

We were looking at pictures from you when you first came home from the hospital...you've change so much!

Gettin big! You've grown 4 1/2 inches since you were born. That's amazing!

4 month Doctor's Visit

Dear Amelia -

3 Month Doctor's Visit Stats:

Weight: 11 pounds 3 ozs

Length: 22 1/4"

Head: 15 3/4"

(you were moving so your face looks a little goofy but check out those thighs!)

Yesterday's visit - 4 Month Doctor's Visit Stats: 

Weight: 14 pounds 10 oz (you ate 4 ounces right before the appt so that may be a little skewed)

Length: 24 1/2"

Head: 16 1/2"

You were in the 75 % for weight and head and 60% for length. Getting so big!

You were given 3 shots yesterday. I can't even watch so Daddy holds you so the nurse can give you your shots. You didn't cry until the 2nd one. Poor baby.

Last night was the season finally of The Bachelor so Mommy had Katie over to watch. It was so dramatic. I couldn't believe he dumped Melissa on tv. Jerk. 

You went to your crib at about 845 and slept until 6am!!!! Such a good little sleeper!

Tonight we are going over to Glamma & Cookie's for din din.

Happy Birthday to Aunty Pam!

Dear Amelia -

First things we must say Happy Birthday to Ricky! Yesterday was his birthday. We sent him a text message and a Facebook message but we'll do it here too!

I better get everyone caught up since I missed the blog yesterday. Saturday night we went to the Hopkins Girls Hockey game! As we were walking in, a very nice lady stopped us and asked us if we had tickets yet...we said no and she gave us 2 tickets for FREE! It was going to cost us $15 each to get into the game so that worked out nice. We sat down just in time for the National Anthem. It was so cool that Hopkins was in the championship game. It brought back so many memories! I saw a bunch of my old team mates and one of my favorite teachers of all

 times, Mr Bartz. I didn't talk to the teachers tho. It really looked like you were following the puck. You only cried a little bit. The girls lost 5 to 3 but it was a great game!

You fell asleep at the game so when we got home, I just put you in your pj's and put you in your crib. You woke up at 130 and 630 to eat. 

Sunday, Daddy worked and I cleaned the house a little bit in the morning. Sarah came over around 11 and the plan was to go grab something to eat. Molly and Owen joined us. Owen wanted noodles so we ended up going to Ridgedale. We went to Big Bowl and you were perfect again. After lunch, we did a little bit of shopping and then went to Target. They dropped us off and I made some Chicken Tortilla soup. It was DE-LISH! Daddy got home from work at 5ish and we watched tv for the rest of the night. You went to sleep at 820 and slept until 130 again. You woke Daddy up at 640. 

Today is your aunty Pam's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAM!!!!!

You have your 4 month appointment today! I can't wait to see how much you've grown!
